Our New Zealand Banking current account is set up, and now has a balance in it. Hopefully this should be enough to buy a van and fund our stay there. The process to set up was quite easy, doing it all over e:mail with ANZ Auckland.
There are still thinngs to be done at home, though, and we still have to decide whether to take a laptop or not for help with the childrens eduction. The feeling at the moment is that we can do it from books, but then we are old fashioned! We may have to wait and see what the best way to do it is when we get there.
It's the same for photo's, we have lots of different advice, but we're of the opinion that we should take the photos then get a CD urnt to send back to the UK, each time the memory is full. We can add any pictures to the blog each time we go to an internet cafe?
Anyway time is passing quickly now, and soon we'll be on our way, and all these worries willbe answered.
